DAY 3 Mandalay After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airport for our flight to Mandalay, transferring on arrival to our ship, the RV Kalaw Pandaw – exclusively chartered for Just You customers. Soak up the scenery as you cruise along the Irrawaddy River, and get to know your travelling companions over lunch before a tour of Mandalay.
DAY 4 Mingun For a little town, Mingun has two big attractions – what is thought to be the world’s largest working bell and the

ruins of an unfinished pagoda. We’ll discover these on a walking tour.
DAY 5 Kyauk-myaoung The town of Kyauk-myaoung is known for its distinctive glazed pottery, which we’ll discover today.
DAY 6 Mandalay The Sagaing Hills are home to hundreds of pagodas and monasteries. We’ll arrive in Mandalay early for our excursion. Watching the sun set over the iconic U Bein Bridge is the finalé to our day.
DAY 7 Yandabo Yandabo is famous for its production of terracotta pottery made from the riverbank clay and we’ll reach this small village this morning.
DAY 8 Pakokku The town of Pakokku is known for tobacco and thanakha – a yellow cosmetic paste. We’ll arrive here by tuk tuk. Bagan is a rich archaeological site containing 2,500-plus monuments and we’ll see a selection on a coach tour.
DAY 9 Bagan
Thousands of pagodas and temples were built in the ancient city of Bagan, formerly Pagan, between the 11th and 13th centuries and we’ll see many today.
DAY 10 Yangon You’ll disembark your river cruiser after breakfast and fly back to Yangon. Highlights of our tour of the downtown area include the former High Court, Inland Water Transport building, Secretariat buildings and Strand Hotel.
DAYS 11 & 12 Yangon to UK Fly back to the UK, arriving on day 12.
