DAY 1 UK to Siem Reap We’ll fly to Siem Reap in Cambodia today, arriving on day 2.


DAY 2 Siem Reap On arrival in Siem Reap, we’ll transfer to our hotel, where we have the chance to get to know one another over lunch.

This afternoon we’ll visit the famous Angkor Wat temple, which is the centrepiece of the centuries-old Angkor complex.


DAY 3 Siem Reap Today we’ll explore the incredible Angkor Thom temple complex. This was the final and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, established in the late 12th century.


This evening we’ll gather as a group to enjoy an original Cambodian show.


DAY 4 Siem Reap We’ll take in more temples today, and stop at Kampong Thom to enjoy a packed lunch before transferring to our ship for a 7-night river cruise. Settle into your cabin and enjoy dinner on board with your travelling companions.

DAY 5 Kratie & dolphin spotting We’ll sail through the morning to reach Kratie, a charming French colonial river port. After lunch we’ll transfer to a small boat and visit a protected area where we’ll look for Mekong River dolphins.


DAY 6 Wat Preah Angkoak Temple Today we’ll sail down the river with stops at the Wat Preah Angkoak Temple. In the afternoon we visit a local school at Angkor Ban.


DAY 7 Phnom Penh This morning we’ll discover Cambodia’s attractive capital city Phnom Penh in our own private cyclos, taking in sights such as the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the National Museum.


After lunch we’ll visit two poignant sites, the infamous Choeung Ek, or Killing Fields, and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.


DAY 8 Tonle River Today we’ll journey up the Tonle River to Kampong Trolach, a village where silver is mined. We then head to Chong Kah either by ship or by coach, depending on water levels.


DAY 9 Cruising the Mekong River & Chau Doc Today we cruise the Mekong River and cross the border into Vietnam. We’ll visit Chau Doc town, where we’ll see a floating fish farm, a tribal village and a mosque.


DAY 10 Sa Dec Today we’ll board a Sampan boat and take a trip along the canals and backwaters to Sa Dec. In the afternoon we’ll visit a village where we’ll see how rice paper is produced.


DAYS 11 & 12 Ho Chi Minh City On day 11 we transfer to our hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.


On day 12 we’ll enjoy a tour of Ho Chi Minh City and visit the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels, a complicated underground network built by Viet Cong guerrillas.


DAYS 13 & 14 Ho Chi Minh City to UK We fly back to the UK on day 13, arriving on day 14.
