DAY 3 Phnom Penh Cambodia’s capital lies at the confluence of two great rivers, the Mekong and the Tonle Sap, and we’ll discover its highlights on today’s included tour. We’ll stop at the striking Royal Palace and the National Museum

before walking to the top of Wat Phnom Hill, where we can have our fortunes told. Next, we’ll visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which documents atrocities committed by the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s, before ending our tour at the large Central Market. SUNWAY HOTEL, PHNOM PENH (4-STAR)


DAY 4 Kratie The sleepy riverside town of Kratie is considered the best place in Cambodia to spot rare Irrawaddy dolphins and we’ll head here today to try to do just that. We’ll also walk up Phnom Sambok,

DAY 5 Koh Trong Island Lying just across the water from Kratie is the beautiful island of Koh Trong. We’ll board a boat for the short journey here for a peek into rural village life. DAY 6 Kampong Cham Our journey continues to Kampong Cham, a quiet town that’s steeped in legends. During our tour we’ll admire Wat Nokor, an impressive temple dating back to the 12th century, and the twin hills of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey – meaning man and woman hills – for striking views. Perhaps you’ll choose to find out what your destiny holds with a visit to one of the many fortune tellers, and look out for the monkeys that roam around here!
