Baie des Anges, or ‘Bay of Angels’. After today’s walk, which will take approximately four hours, the afternoon is free. Why not visit St Paul de Vence, a fortified hilltop village in Provence, boasting art galleries, boutiques and pavement cafés.

DAY 3 La Turbie & Eze Walk 8km/5.5mi - 5hrs

La Turbie is a lovely village perched high above Monaco. We’ll head here by coach to begin today’s included walk. The famous Trophy of Augustus, built by the Romans for the emperor Augustus to celebrate his victory over the Ligurian tribes of the area, is a great sight. We’ll also head to a view point from where we can admire Monaco. The two-and-a- half-hour walk from La Turbie to Eze is one of the most pleasant walks on the French Riviera, and we’ll experience this next. Eze is a stunning fortified village dating back to the 14th century. Built on a hill, it boasts incredible views. After a

250-metre climb, we’ll stroll for about an hour through the village’s narrow streets before transferring back to Nice by coach.

DAY 4 Cap Martin & Monaco Walk 12km/8mi - 4.5hrs

The French Riviera, or the Cote d’Azur, is one of Europe’s most spectacular coastlines, and we’ll explore it further today. The train will take us from Nice to Menton as we admire views of the Riviera from the comfort of our seats. On arrival, we’ll begin our three-and- a-half-hour walk from the train station along the seafront and around the lovely headland of Cap Martin. There will be time for an hour-long walk around Monaco, taking in the palace and the casino or simply wandering by the port before we take the train back to Nice. Today we will cover around eight miles.

DAY 5 Cap Ferrat & Villa de Rothschild Walk 11km/7.5mi - 4.5hrs

Cap Ferrat is glamorous and picturesque, with plenty of stunningly unspoilt scenery. We’ll head here this morning, taking the train to Beaulieu- sur-Mer, a lovely seaside village. Today’s walk is an ideal way to discover the coast and bay of Villefranche, before reaching the Villa de Rothschild. This stunning seaside villa is filled with an array of 18th century paintings, antique furniture and intricate tapestries, while the gardens boasts impressive fountains and a lovely rose garden. We’ll make our way back to Nice by train, having walked approximately seven-and-a-half miles. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner in a local restaurant, the perfect way to round off your holiday.

DAY 6 Nice to UK We’ll fly back to the UK today.
