DAY 1 UK to Reykjavik Meet your travelling companions at the airport today for your scheduled flight to Reykjavik. On arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel, which is located in the heart of the city and boasts excellent facilities including a spa.
This evening, after you’ve settled into you room, get to know your fellow travellers as you join them for a welcome drink before dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
Reykjavik is Iceland’s vibrant capital and it boasts some intriguing buildings,
a lively culture and plenty of cosy cafés, galleries and museums.
What’s more, Iceland provides some of the best Northern Lights viewing conditions in the world, so if you’re lucky you may see this natural phenomenon at some point during your holiday. It is also a destination that boasts an abundance of spectacular wildlife – there’s a chance you might spot a whale from the shore, or see seabirds such as puffins, which nest along the coastline.
DAY 2 Reykjavik Reykjavik’s many gems await our discovery today during a morning tour. We’ll be joined by a Local Guide, who will show us the main sights including the fishing harbour, Parliament buildings and The Pearl – one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks consisting of five huge hot water storage tanks topped with a domed revolving restaurant.
We’ll get to relax or explore at our own pace this afternoon. Perhaps go out for a stroll and see more of Reykjavik, as

your hotel is in the heart of the capital. The city also houses an exhibition centre, where you can see the remains of a Viking longhouse that was discovered during its construction, as well as other exhibits including human remains dating back to approximately 870AD.
