DAY 3 Habarana Today we head to Habarana. En route we will visit UNESCO-listed Anuradhapura, the first capital and the grandest city of ancient Sri Lanka. JETWING LAKE, DAMBULLA (4-STAR)


DAY 4 Sigiriya & Minneriya Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s seven World Heritage sites and is situated in the heart of the island’s Cultural Triangle. This spectacular rock fortress


complex is home to water gardens, moats and the impressive Lion Rock - the entrance to the original fortress was through the mouth of a carved lion. take the day to explore at your own pace. The villages surrounding Habarana offer a taste of local life. As you take the 2km stroll along the Hiriwaduna Lake dam, keep an eye out for some spectacular birdlife as well as land and water monitors.


On day 6 we’ll visit the ancient Hiriwaduna Buddhist Temple before crossing a jungle rivulet by catamaran to reach a farmer’s ‘wattle and daub’ house. We’ll round off the morning with a bullock cart ride around the village. JETWING LAKE, DAMBULLA (4-STAR)
