Motorplan
Planning for the car of your dreams? MotorPlan can get you started because it’s ‘Car Finance Made Easy’!
MotorPlan is for private and business buyers alike. How does it work?
1 The customer simply puts down a minimum deposit against the vehicle
in the form of cash or a part exchange.
2 The outstanding amount is then financed over a period of between
one to five years with fixed monthly repayments.
3 Ownership of the vehicle is passed over to the customer once all
repayments have been made.
It’s that simple. Finance is available for both new and used vehicles, subject to credit criteria. Right now, the Irish motor market is still
all abuzz about PCPs, or Personal Contract Plans. However, the First Citizen Finance Personal Ownership Programme (POP), called ‘Simplicity’, is a bespoke product that allows the customer pay a deposit, finance the vehicle over 24, 36 or 48 months and then make a final payment at the end of the period. Simplicity is designed to ensure that the deposit is reasonable, the monthly payments are affordable (and match the depreciation of the vehicle over the term) and that the final payment is acceptable. The POP is designed to ensure that the customer has sufficient value in his vehicle at the end of the term and can then use this equity as a deposit towards his next new car. Full details are available from First Citizen
Finance or your local Motor Dealer. Finance products, such as hire purchase,
leasing and contract hire facilities are also available for Business Users. Bespoke repayment terms can be tailored for each business customer depending on their specific requirements. Terms and conditions apply.
Autoline Applying for car finance made easy!
Autoline is First Citizen’s online real time finance application system, accessed inside the motor dealers’ showrooms – it has been in operation for many years now. This system links the sales staff at the motor dealership directly with a team of underwriters at First Citizen Finance to ensure the customer receives a speedy response to their finance application. The system also provides instant finance quotations.
Doing business with First Citizen Finance through your local dealer is simple
1 Visit your local franchise motor dealer and choose your car, new or used
2 Receive your competitive finance quotation
3 A finance application is then sent to First Citizen Finance via Autoline and
you will usually receive a decision within two working hours
4 Time to sign all necessary documentation at the supplying
dealership
5 Payment is then transferred to the dealer on your behalf without delay
6 Drive away in your new car! Gerry Hargadon, Sales Director at First
Citizen Finance, is looking forward to a positive year ahead in 2020 for the Irish motor industry:
“From an economic viewpoint we’ve experienced a few challenging years due to the uncertainty over the outcome of Brexit and the impact of WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure). New car registrations have continued to fall in 2019 whilst Imports from the UK have increased due to Sterling volatility / Brexit etc. Future Government policy will ultimately dictate the level of new car registrations versus the Import market going forward. Presently, all key economic metrics remain favourable. GDP growth is still very strong, Unemployment is now below 5% for the first time in a decade, and a national car parc in excess of 2 million vehicles should give us the opportunities to grow new car registrations in the short to medium term. Interest rates are at an all-time low and liquidity levels in the marketplace are very strong – all good news for potential purchasers of new and used cars. The European average for the replacement cycle of the national car parc is between 6 and 8 per cent. This should leave a natural market of between 120k and 160k new car registrations over the coming years. First Citizen Finance is committed to continuing to deliver a strong customer proposition in the new environment. First Citizen Finance is here to help you acquire your brand new or used vehicle. Make sure you get in touch”. AI
