ITINERARY
Day 1 Fly to Luqa. Catch the ferry to Gozo. Day 2 Xaghra Guided tour of Victoria. Explore the Citadel and the old prison. Visit the Ggantija Temples in Xaghra and walk to Calypso Cave. Day 3 Azure Travel to Dwejra and visit the Azure Window rock arch. Optional boat trip on the Inland Sea. Walk from Zebbug past the seaside resort of Marsalforn and catch the ferry back to Malta. Day 4 Valletta City Tour the capital, a UNESCO world heritage site. Day 5 Hagar Qim Visit the temple ruins of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra. Optional boat trip to the Blue Grotto. Day 6 Grand Harbour Visit a typical Maltese bakery before exploring the three historical walled cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua. Take a boat trip around the Grand Harbour and visit wine cellars to sample the local produce. Day 7 Mdina Explore the city. Visit St Paul’s Catacombs and an olive estate. Day 8 Fly to the UK.

Days 9/11 Palermo Tour the capital city including the Norman Palace and the Gothic Cathedral. Visit the Cathedral of Monreale and drive to the ruins of Solunto – a Roman town abandoned in 300 AD.
