An exciting holiday in Iceland discovering glaciers, waterfalls and geysers. We take a dip in the warm waters of the Blue Lagoon and have the option to ride snowmobiles on a glacier or drive in giant ‘superjeeps’ across lava fields. In the summer we go in search of whales from Reykjavik harbour and in the winter we hope to see the amazing Northern Lights.

ITINERARY
Day 1 Fly to Reykjavik. Day 2 Golde Circle Visit the towering waterfall of Gullfoss and the Great Geysir hot spring on Iceland’s famous Golden Circle route. Day 3 Optional activities Drive to the valley of Thorsmork in ‘SuperJeep’ four-wheel drives or ride snowmobiles across a glacier. In the summer months, search for whales around Iceland’s coast. Day 4 Blue Lagoon Unwind in the thermal waters. Fly to the UK. (Please note that depending on flight times, some groups may visit the blue lagoon on day 1 rather than on day 4.

Day 1 Blue Lagoon Fly to Reykjavik. Drive to Blue Lagoon and relax in the geothermal sea water. Visit the Northern Lights Museum and learn about the phenomena from astronomer Andrew Green. Hope to catch a glimpse of the spectacular light display this evening. Day 2 Seljalandsfoss Walk behind the waterfall. Travel along the South coast of Iceland to view the bird nesting cliffs and vast glaciers. Enjoy another chance to view the Northern lights this evening. Day 3 Golden Circle Visit Iceland’s famous Golden Circle: including Pingvellir National Park, lava fields and the Strokkur geyser that erupts every 3 to 7 minutes. Travel back to Rykjavik and hopefully view the Northern lights again. Day 4 Fly to the UK.
