This trip combines the dramatic landscape of the Grand Canyon with visits to the bustling cities of San Francisco and Las Vegas. We explore narrow gorges in Zion, discover beautiful Lake Mono in the Sierra Nevada mountains and enjoy the breath- taking views from the edge of the Grand Canyon.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Fly to San Francisco. Day 2 San Francisco Explore the city and visit the Golden Gate Bridge. Days 3/4 Yosemite National Park Discover the trails, waterfalls and panoramic views of this great wilderness. Day 5 Sierra Nevada Mountains Travel into the high Sierras and visit the spectacular Lake Mono. Continue to the small settlement of Lone Pine. Day 6 Death Valley Cross Death Valley on our way to Zion. Days 7/8 Zion National Park Hike to Angel’s landing – one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Zion. There is the option to enjoy a unique river-hike through the Zion Narrows. Day 9 Bryce Canyon Explore the vast canyon admiring views of the towering red pillars of rock. Day 10 Lake Powell Enjoy a free afternoon. Choose from a range of watersports or take a trip to Antelope Canyon. Day 11 Monument Valley Discover this iconic backdrop. Explore the Navajo Reservation, the sandstone pinnacles and towering spires of Monument Valley. Days 12/13 Grand Canyon Enjoy stunning views of the vast gorge. Day 14 Route 66 and Las Vegas Drive via the famous Route 66 to the bustling city of Las Vegas. Days 15/16 Overnight flight to the UK.

Enjoy an exciting introduction to the bustling city of Las Vegas and the surrounding spectacular scenery. We explore the dramatic landscapes of Nevada from the depths of the Grand Canyon to the heights of the sheer rock faces of Zion.

Day 1 Fly to Vegas. Days 2/3 Route 66 to the Grand Canyon Drive along Route 66 to the southern rim of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy spectacular views of the Nevada desert. Day 4 Monument Valley Enter Navajo Reservation Land and admire the impressive panorama of Monument Valley. Optional jeep trip. Day 5 Canyon lands and Bryce Canyon Cross the Colorado River into Utah. Visit the scenic Lake Powell and the impressive sandstone slots of Antelope Canyon (optional). Later, travel to the wind-eroded landforms of Bryce. Days 6/7 Zion National Park Visit the towering gorge with cliffs thousands of feet high, framing the rock pools and waterfalls of the valley below. Optional walk before returning to Las Vegas. Days 8/9 Overnight flight to the UK.
