On the way we canoe along the Akanan River to the base of the thundering waters of Angel Falls – the world’s highest waterfall.

Day 1 Fly to Caracas. Day 2 Kavac Fly to Kavac and explore the canyon. Days 3/4 Motorised canoe Travel along the Akanan River to Arenal. Hike through the jungle and swim in the river. Day 5 Angel Falls Admire the raging waters. Optional hike from the base of the falls to Alexander Laime’s lookout. Day 6 Canaima Travel to the town in the beautiful National Park. Optional boat trip to Sapo Falls where it is possible to walk behind the tumbling water. Days 7/9 Journey to the Tribal Lands Travel by motorised canoe along the Carapo rapids to Kavaimaken Village. Days 10/13 Shirian tribe Visit the local tribe and experience their culture and way of life. Travel with indigenous guides to Ichun and Uraima Falls. Day 14 Cuidad Bolivar Take a boat to La Paragua and catch a bus to Ciudad Bolivar. Days 15/16 Fly to Caracas. Overnight flight to the UK.
