Days 1/2 Overnight flight to Kuching. Days 3/4 Bako Explore Kuching’s historical sites. Head to Bako National Park for wildlife walks and an optional boat trip. Days 5/6 Iban longhouse Journey upriver to Lemanak to stay with the Iban People in traditional longhouses. Day 7 Miri Fly to Sarawak’s lively coastal city. Days 8/10 Mulu In Mulu National Park travel by longtail boat to explore the cave systems. Day 11 Kota Kinabalu Fly to the capital of Sabah. Days 12/13 Watch the Orang utans feed at the Sepilok Sanctuary. Day 14 Sukau Look out for crocodiles and proboscis monkeys on a cruise along the Kinabatangan River. Day 15 Poring Hot Springs Bathe in the naturally heated waters and take a canopy walk through the heights of the rainforest. Days 16/17 Mount Kinabalu Hike up through the rainforest to Laban Rata, with the
option to make a pre-dawn ascent of Southeast Asia’s highest peak (4101m). Days 18/19 Beringgis Beach Time to relax, swim and snorkel in the clear waters of the South China Sea. Enjoy a boat trip to Manukan Island. Day 20 Fly to the UK.

BORNEO JUNGLE ADVENTURE ACTION-PACKED ADVENTURE IN BORNEO

Borneo is an exciting destination for active adventurers. During this trip we try many of the exhilarating activities on offer as we cycle, raft and trek around the island. We climb Mount Kinabalu, abseil at Kirangu Rocks and search for bats in Lang Cave. We also visit the loveable Orang utans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre and learn survival skills as we spend the night in jungle hammocks.

Days 1/2 Overnight flight to Miri. Day 3 Caves Fly to Mulu and see the bats in Lang Cave. Days 4/5 Trek Take a longboat to Wind Cave and trek to Melinau Gorge. Visit the Penan tribe, the last nomadic tribe in Borneo. Days 6/7 Kota Kinabalu Fly to the coastal city. Try rock climbing and abseiling at Kirangu Rocks. Days 8/9 Orang utans Fly to Sandakan and visit the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre, a wild habitat for the orphaned and injured primates. Drive to Kinabatangan and spend time relaxing. Days 10/11 Mesilou Ride mountain bikes to Poring Hot Springs and take a canopy walk. Days 12/13 Mount Kinabalu Climb to the summit along the quieter Mesilou Route. Days 13/14 Kudat Travel to the northern tip of Borneo: relax on the beach, visit small markets or hire bikes to cycle around the nearby villages. Days 15/16 Kiulu Enter the jungle and trek to the campsite. Learn some jungle survival skills before spending the night in hammocks. Day 17 Kota Kinabalu Spend the morning white- water-rafting. Day 18 Fly to the UK.
