Days 1/3 Hong Kong Overnight flight to Hong Kong. Enjoy an orientation tour of the city. Take a train to Victoria Peak or a boat to Aberdeen Harbour. Days 4/6 Li River Ride on a sleeper train to Guilin and board a riverboat. Pass unusual limestone outcrops and vast paddy fields along the route. Reach the rural town of Yangshuo. Optional bike ride or walk in surrounding villages; visit Moon Hill. Days 7/8 Xian Roam through the narrow lanes of the Old Muslim Quarter. Explore the wooden mosque and the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Discover the famous Army of Terracotta Warriors: life-size soldiers buried to protect the Qin Dynasty emperors in the after- world. Days 9/10 Beijing Travel by train to the capital. Explore the famous Tiananmen Square and the maze of palaces and gardens of the ‘Forbidden City’. Travel to Mutianyu to walk on one of the most impressive sections of the Great Wall.
