Day 1 Fly to Beirut. Day 2 Beiteddine Drive south to the Crusader castle at Sidon. Enjoy lunch with a local family in Baadaran and visit the Beiteddine Palace and museum. Day 3 Baalbek Explore the giant temple complex ‘Heliopolis’ including the Temple of Bacchus and the magnificent colonnade of the Temple of Jupiter. Discover the roman relics at Anjar. Travel to Ksara for wine tasting. Day 4 Beirut A walking tour of the city visiting Martyr Square and the national museum. Visit the the Jeita caves, a UNESCO world heritage site. Day 5 Byblos Explore the Crusader fortifications and the Cathedral of Harissa. Day 6 Tannourine Take a walk through the cedar forests of the Nature Reserve. Meet the monks of the Qozhaya Monastery in the Valley of Saints and stay overnight. Day 7 Qadisha Valley Tour the monastery and walk down into the Valley. Return to Beirut. Day 8 Fly to the UK.
