Pre-existing medical conditions It is a pre-requisite of many travel insurance policies (including the Explore policy) that you inform the insurance company of any de ned pre-existing medical conditions known to exist (both you or any person not necessarily travelling but upon whom travel depends, such as a relative) at the time of purchase and obtain written con rmation from them that you are fully covered for such conditions as failure to do so may result in a claim being declined or reduced. Age Limits – the annual policy is available to persons aged 65 years or under at the time of purchasing the insurance.
Travel in the UK – is covered provided you have pre-booked accommodation of two consecutive nights. Medical cover is excluded.
Couples/children – 1. Either adult or children can travel independently.
2. Cover for single parents. 3. A ‘couple’ is de ned as any 2 adults, whether married or not, who have been in a permanent partnership for at least 6 months.
Validity – All policies are valid for a full calendar year. Premiums are not refundable should your tour be cancelled by Explore for any reason. If you do not specify a commencement date, we will automatically issue the policy from the date of payment.
Travel duration – the maximum period for any one trip covered by the policy is 36 days. There is no limit to the number of trips in the year. This 36 day maximum period cannot be extended.

Excesses
