Days 1/2 Overnight flight to Lima. Tour of the city. Days 3/4 Nazca Lines Travel to the Pacific coast. Explore Paracas National Park and view the diverse birdlife. Continue to Nazca. See the famous lines etched in the desert floor from viewing platforms. Days 5/6 Arequipa Discover the beautifully preserved colonial city including a visit to the 500-year old Santa Catalina Convent. Days 7/8 Colca Canyon Travel to the high plains of the Andes to the Mirador Cruz del Condor and search for the rare bird. Day 9 Lake Titicaca Sail along the world’s highest navigable lake and visit Indian communities on Taquile and Uros islands. Days 10/11 Andean Explorer Travel on the Andean Explorer train through spectacular scenery to Cusco. Explore the ancient city and visit the bustling Pisac Market. Day 12 Machu Picchu Travel to the ancient Inca ruins known as the ‘Lost City’ (2400m). Days 13/14 Sacred Valley Explore the picturesque valley. Optional white-water rafting down the Urubamba River. Day 15 Lima Return to the capital. Days 16/17 Overnight flight to the UK.

Day 4 Arequipa Explore the UNESCO World Heritage City. Day 5 Colca Canyon Take an optional trip into one of the world’s deepest canyons and search for the rare Andean Condor. Day 6 Puno Enjoy a scenic drive to the lakeside town. Days 7/8 Lake Titicaca Travel by boat to the floating Uros islands and stay in a village house on Taquile island. Days 9/10 Cusco Traverse high Andean passes to reach the ancient Inca capital. Explore the city and visit the colourful Pisac market and Sacsayhuaman. Days 11/12 Machu Picchu Travel to the spectacular Inca site by train and bus. There is the option to re-visit the ruins early the next day. Return to Cusco by train. Day 13 Sacred Valley Explore the beautiful scenery of the valley. Choose from a range of optional activities including white-water rafting along the Urubamba River.
