The suspension can feel fi rm, especially in models such as the F Sport, which has larger wheels, so it may be worth considering
smaller wheels that get plumper tyres (like in the Eco model) for a smoother ride.

Looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class? The Lexus IS 300h mates hybrid powertrain with sharp looks to deliver something diff erent to the premium compact saloon segment. Choosing the F Sport model adds further emphasis to that unique front-end design and grille. Inside the cabin, fi t and fi nish are to a high standard and models from Executive upwards get leather upholstery. Engine-wise, only the ‘300h’ is off ered in Ireland, which brings a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine together with an electric motor to give a combined 223hp. The automatic transmission is a CVT system rather than a traditional unit and requires a lighter throttle input to get the best from in relation to fuel economy and refi nement.
