e’ve designed Auto Ireland to be free of jargon and enjoyable to read, whether you’re in


the market right now for a new car, or you’re merely interested in keeping up with all that the motor industry has to off er. The majority of the magazine is made up of expert reviews of every single car on sale in Ireland right now (and a few just about to arrive). It is all arranged alphabetically by manufacturer to make it really easy to fi nd what you’re looking for. Within each set of manufacturer pages,


you’ll fi nd a brief introduction to the brand and a lead review for the car within the range that really stands out. Other than that, watch out for our ‘Editor’s Choice’ and ‘Class Leader’ icons, as they are only applied to cars we rate highly. Alongside the reviews we’ve included


some useful data, including pricing and key technical specifi cations. Here’s the guide to that:

HP: Horsepower, the maximum power developed.


KPH: Maximum speed measured in kilometres per hour as per the manufacturers’ offi cial fi gures - sometimes quoted as km/h.


MPG: Fuel economy fi gures in miles per gallon, though can be converted to litres/100km also.
