w ran a tice . to! G d chem kts tyjn Edinburgh rail trip

TWO years have passed, and the mild-mannered Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) faces new chal lenges as he struggles with “ the gift and the curse” , desperately trying to bal ance his dual identities as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man and his life as a college student. Tormented by his

secrets, Peter finds that his relationships with all those he holds dear are in danger of unraveling. His life-long yearning for M. J. (Kirsten Dunst) becomes even stronger as he fights the impulse to reveal his secret life and declare his love. His friendship with

Harry Osborn (James Franco) is complicated by the young Osborn's bitter ness over his father’s death and his growing vendetta against Spider-Man. Even Peter's beloved Aunt May (Rosemary Harris), who has fallen on hard times after the death of Uncle Ben, begins to have doubts about her nephew.

tours’ last special train of the year will pick up from Burnley station on Bank Holiday Saturday, August 28th, to journey to the his toric city of Edinburgh. The train, comprising 12

heritage coaches from the 1950s and 1960s, will trav el along the East Lan cashire Line to the West Riding, then over the Vale of York. I t will then make its

way along the East Coast Line through York, past Durham and the Angel of the North to Newcastle and over the Tyne bridges. It is then time to enjoy

mile after mile of sea views along the Northumber land coast including Lind- isfame (Holy Island) and Bamburgh Castle. The train then crosses

the magnificent Royal Border Bridge at Berwick with further scenery of the

North Sea as it travels into Scotland. On arriving in Edin

burgh at lunchtime, pas sengers will have four hours free time to soak up the atmosphere of the Edinburgh Festival, which runs from August 15th until September 5th show casing the very best in opera, theatre, music and dance. Alternatively, they can

explore the capital city’s famous landmarks or enjoy an afternoon’s shop ping on Princess Street. Stewards will be on

hand on the train to pro vide information and all passengers will be provid ed with reserved seats and travel guides. There will be a buffet

car with chilled wine trol ley and a bar serving tra ditional hand pulled “ rail ale” from the renowned Riverhead Brewery at Marsden in the Colne Val ley.

The return journey is

over on the West Coast Line, first travelling up to the Borders past Cobbin-
