On 4 June 2004 the Serire- tary of State for Environ ment Food and Rural Affairs confirmed with mod ifications the above Order made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is lo create a public footpath running from point
(SD64863328) east for approximately 360 metres Ihrough point B (SD64953331) and then points C (SD65113333) and D (SD65143333) passing to the south of Oxendale Hall Farm and Oxendale Hall to point E (SD65213335).

A copy of Ihe Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Level C of the Ribble Valley Borough Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe from 8.45am to 5.00pm on nor mal working days. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of £1.40.
The Order comes into force on 3 September 2004 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question Its validi ty, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the High ways Act 1980 as amend ed, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended or of any reg* ulatlon made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, with in 6 weeks from 8 July 2004 make an application to the High Court.

On 4 June 2004 the Secre tary of State for Environment Food and Rural Affairs con firmed with modifications the above Order made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to create a pub lic footpath running from the stile on public footpath num ber 28 at point A (SD65023363) south east for approximately 160 metres to points (SD65143354) then east for approximately 60 metres to point C (SD65203355) then south for approximately 20 metres to the stream at point D (SD65203353) then south again for approximately 60 metres to point E (SD65193348) then south again for approximately 300 metres through points F (SD65213344)
(SD65213341) and H (SD65213335) to point I (SD65243326) at the junc tion wi^ public footpath num ber 5 as shown on the Order Map.
