experimental tests, which few other companies can provide in support of their products. The expertise and the approach to research and innovation has always been the hallmark of Indena, and has led the company to the production of the highest quality active ingredients of botanical origin for the pharmaceutical, health-food and personal care sectors.

The new data on the anti-blue ray

properties of Indena Vitachelox will be presented at in-cosmetics 2018 during the Innovation Seminar “Skin Blue Light Protection: A Global Strategy” at the Technical Seminar Theatre No. 1 on 17 April at 12:00-12:30.

Indena has always had a sustainable

approach to environment. Furthermore, in 2013 the company established a programme for sustainable sourcing (SuSo). Detailed information on the programme, its achievements and future projects will be available at the Sustainability Corner during the three days of the show, and a specific presentation will be given on 18 April at 11:00-11:30, in the same Corner. Sederma will be on stand G60 at the

show, welcoming visitors to learn about the company’s latest innovations: PoreTect, a new eco-designed active ingredient acting as a skin texture rejuvenator, smoothing skin grain and disclosing natural radiance. For visitors looking for a new picture of body care, Sederma will share their distinctive vision, featuring Hydronesis, a biotechnological body beautifier active obtained by fermentation of the pink lake microorganism, giving an irresistible touch to the skin, reducing keratosis pilaris and post-waxing redness. Pollution still being a hot topic, some new data on autophagy with Sederma’s anti-pollution plant cell culture extract Citystem will be presented. Sun Chemical Performance Pigments will highlight its wide range of pearlescent and bold effect pigments at in-cosmetics Global 2018. Visitors to stand A60 will be introduced to Sun Chemical’s wide portfolio of colorants that give cosmetic formulators

the ability to define trends and deliver innovative cosmetic, skin care and personal care products to consumers. Sun Chemical will also participate in the in-cosmetics Make-Up Bar, where visitors are invited to discover trendsetting colour cosmetic ingredients and test formulation prototypes.

Guests who visit Sun Chemical’s booth

will learn about the enhanced Intenza family of pearlescent effect pigments which are now created with only synthetic mica substrates. The combination of certified organic colourants with synthetic mica provides superior chroma, exceptional sparkle, and lower residual heavy metals compared to natural mica substrates. Designed to help designers formulate unique colours and effects, Sun Chemical’s SunSHINE pearlescent pigments can make formulations sparkle and shine. The SunSHINE family of pure synthetic mica- based pearlescent pigments has a high degree of transparency, brilliant sparkle, and a broad range of particle sizes. This provides cosmetic chemists with the ability to create a wide array of colour cosmetics with appearances that range from smooth, satin finishes to dramatic sparkling glitters. Venator Materials, specialists in titanium dioxide and colour pigments for the cosmetics industry, will be exhibiting at in-cosmetics global at stand H10. At the event, Venator’s cosmetics experts will be promoting the high purity products they produce for many of the world’s leading beauty and personal care brands. Venator’s pigments and additives are integral to the look and feel of all kinds of cosmetic, skin and dental care formulations. Providing the pigment power behind countless colour cosmetics, Venator’s colour pigments deliver dramatic, long-lasting results in mascaras, eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushers and many other makeup products. Venator’s titanium dioxide pigments provide a flawless finish in foundations and help to give concealers and correcting creams consistent coverage capabilities. Venator also has a wealth of

experience in the development of specialist titanium dioxide grades for anti-ageing skin care treatments, ultra-natural baby care products and sunscreen formulations.

After Party and Awards Industry professionals are also invited to the in-cosmetics Global After Party on 17 April, which is new for 2018. Attendees will enjoy an evening of music, food, drink and entertainment, as well as celebrating the achievements of the in-cosmetics Global Award winners. The awards recognise suppliers that have developed the most novel functional and active ingredients, while a Make Up Award will be presented for the most innovative developments in colour cosmetics. Expert judges will review all entries and present the winning suppliers with their prizes at the show.

Speaking ahead of the 2018 edition of the event, Roziani Zulkifli, exhibition manager of in-cosmetics Global, commented: “Amsterdam is a central hub of business in Europe, easily accessed by international suppliers and manufacturers – from the USA to the Middle East – which is why we’ve decided to return after ten years.
