Reptile surveys Common Lizard, Grass Snake and Slow-worm were recorded, but not Adder.
Table 1 summarises the results of the survey locations where reptiles are present. Column 1 gives the numbers that relate to the survey locations shown in Figure 24.8.2. Columns 2 – 6 give information on species and numbers recorded on visits 1 to 5 respectively. The species recorded are given using the following codes: Af – Slow Worm (Anguis fragilis), Zv - Common Lizard (Zootoca vivipara) and Nn – Grass Snake (Natrix natrix), followed by the number of individuals observed in brackets. Column 7 concludes the findings at each survey location in terms of the numbers present (based on experience and professional judgement). Full survey results (including locations where no reptiles were identified) can be found in Appendix B.
