Ditch 82 is suitable for Water Voles. The ditch forms a section of the River Fynn. The banks are small and shallow with restricted burrowing potential. They are heavily vegetated with herbs and tall grasses. The water is deep and access to survey the channel from water level was not possible. In addition a substantial section of the channel could not be access on one side.
