Unknown Unknown Suitable (Sub-optimal)
Ditch 54 is suitable for Water Voles. The water is between 1 and 2 m deep with a deep silt layer. The channel is heavily shaded by scrub meaning suitable riparian vegetation is limited. Access was restricted to an approximate 15m section of the ditch due to the deep water, steep sides and dense bramble cover.
