Target Note 286c. The Queens Fleet is approximately 30 m across where the route crosses. The aquatic vegetation is dominated by Potamogeton berchtoldii (Small Pondweed) and Potamogeton pectinatus (Fennel Pondweed) with the Schedule 9 listed Elodea canadensis (Canadian Waterweed) occurring frequently throughout the channel. Myriophyllum spicatum (Spiked Water-milfoil) is abundant particularly close to the Phragmites australis (Common Reed) dominated banks. Large stands of Phragmites australis (Common Reed) occur in the middle of the channel approximately 50 m down from the proposed crossing point
