GUILIANA CARBI: Branco in my opinion, had a very good way of closing. In the
mean time, we are waiting for the next Biennial in Istanbul. I also came here to see
new spaces to which we wish very good fortune and activity the BM Suma Center
that probably with the work of all the friends that have invited us here, I personally
thank Melih Görgün and Mahir Namur of the ECA and all the staff of the Center that
I met who were very friendly and active and curious to work. I think this Center will
be something connecting the city to the next Biennial, preparing somehow the young
audience Branco was quoting, to go and visit the next appointment. For all these and
for being here we altogether want to thank a lot to one of the inventors of the
Biennial and we say thank you to Beral Madra for all.

arada ‹stanbul’daki bir sonraki bienali bekleyececurrency1iz. Ben, ayn› zamanda buraya yeni
mekanlar› da görmeye geldim ki, bunlar›n hepsine iyi flanslar ve faaliyetler diliyo-
rum. Olas›l›kla BM Suma, bizi buraya davet eden merkezdir. Tüm arkadafllar›n
çal›flmalar›na, AKD’den Melih Görgün ve Mahir Namur’a ve tan›flt›currency1›m ve çok
canayak›n, faal ve çal›flmaya istekli gördücurrency1üm bu merkezin tüm personeline
teflekkür etmek istiyorum. Bence bu merkez, kenti bir sonraki bienale bacurrency1layan bir
fley olacak, genç izleyiciyi bir flekilde -Branco’nun da dedicurrency1i gibi -, bir sonraki
buluflmaya gitmek ve ziyaret etmek üzere haz›rlayacak. Tüm bunlar için ve burada
olducurrency1umuz için hep birlikte Bienal’in yarat›c›lar›ndan biri olan Beral Madra’ya her
fley için çok teflekkürler diyoruz.
