Talking last is a privilege but also it makes you very fast running out of the
subjects, practically most of the things are covered. This is the third Continental
Breakfast conference I participated at, they were all held on behalf of the biennials,
the ones I was at two in Venice and in Istanbul. Though we are certainly very critical
about those biennials as manifestations and each one of them in particular of those
times, we are kind of using it and certainly the coming to see the biennial. Istanbul
was certainly a big magnet to come to participate. I think it would be really honest,
that we acknowledge it and to thank the Istanbul Biennial for giving us this perfect
opportunity. The next thing, that is the fact that it is always us, talking about the
biennial. Actually what I would finally like to experience is, that maybe to better it we
should be tutored by the audience. Maybe for the next Continental Breakfast if we
would be able to arrange the group of the audience to tell us what their opinion is,
instead of constantly listening to our opinion. Maybe we can start here. Maybe the
girl with the long blonde hair can tell us about what she thinks about the Istanbul
Biennial.

Sonuncu konuflmac› olmak bir ayr›cal›k ama ayn› zamanda da konular› çok
çabuk tüketmenize neden oluyor, çünkü hemen hemen tüm konular›n üstünden
geçilmifl oluyor. Bu, kat›ld›currency1›m üçüncü Kontinental Kahvalt› konferans›, hepsi de
bienaller kapsam›nda düzenlendi, ben ikisinde bulundum, Venedik ve ‹stanbul. Her
biri özellikle o zamanlar›n birer gösterisi olan bu bienaller hakk›nda kuflkusuz çok
elefltirel olsak da, bir bak›ma onlar› ve bienali görmek için gelmemizi kesinlikle
kullan›yoruz. ‹stanbul da, gelip kat›lmak için elbette ki büyük bir m›knat›st›. Bunu
kabul etmemizin ve ‹stanbul Bienali’ne bize verdicurrency1i bu kusursuz f›rsat için teflekkür
etmenin gerçekten samimi olacacurrency1›n› düflünüyorum. Bir sonra söylemek istedicurrency1imse,
bienal hakk›nda konuflanlar›n hep biz olducurrency1u gerçecurrency1i. Asl›nda son olarak
deneyimlemek istedicurrency1im fley flu; belki de bizim izleyiciden ders almam›z daha iyi
olur. Belki bir sonraki Kontinental Kahvalt› için, sürekli kendi düflüncelerimizi
dinlemek yerine, bir grup izleyiciyi bize görüfllerini iletmek üzere ayarlayabiliriz.
Hatta buradan bafllayabiliriz. Belki arkadaki uzun sar› saçl› bayan bize ‹stanbul
Bienali hakk›nda ne düflündücurrency1ünü anlatabilir.
