in medicine In this unit, students focus on some of the basic principles of medicine. T e skills focus is on preparing for listening and making notes. Over the four lessons, students practise preparing for and then listening to two short lectures. T e fi rst looks at the principles of human physiology, and the second looks at key principles of human anatomy. Students work together to build a set of notes and practise language for asking for information. T ere is also a focus on identifying stress patterns in multisyllable words; and students have opportunities to practise using their dictionaries.
