Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. My name is Liam and I am going to speak to you about why students should not have to wear uniforms.
Let’s face it, uniforms are uncomfortable. If students could wear their own clothes, they would be more comfortable and would therefore be able to concentrate bet er in class.
A clear point is made and explained.
School uniforms make you feel that you are just one anonymous member of the school. You are just another person walking in the same clothes and you feel that you are boring and the same as everyone else. Parents and teachers make students wear them so teenagers don’t get to express themselves through their choice of clothing. They use them to make sure we stay silent and hidden and don’t express our individuality. In my opinion, students should be allowed to wear their own clothes to school.
