Learning Intentions
Relevant Learning Outcomes are listed at the start of each collection. To assist planning and continued engagement over time with lengthy Learning Outcomes, the list states the specifi c aspect of each Learning Outcome addressed in the collection.
Learning Intentions that unpack the Learning Outcomes are shown in colourful spider diagrams at the start of every collection. They are reinforced as headings for specifi c texts and tasks – all helping with planning and formative assessment.
Each thematic collection culminates in Show What You Know written and oral tasks, which prepare students for CBAs and Final Exam and now include a special focus on self- and peer assessment to develop refl ection skills. Tasks include scaff olded Must–Should–Could success criteria.
