Ensure you are getting your information from a trusted source. National news outlets like RTÉ and The Irish Times are usually reliable sources but you should always try to fi nd the original source. For example, if a statistic from the World Health Organization is used in a news programme, try to fi nd the same statistic on the WHO site to ensure it is correct.
