Take fi ve minutes to make some notes. You should use at least three adjectives in your talk. You can refer to the notes you have made, but you cannot read them out. You must be able to speak about your chosen topic without reading your notes directly.

A thesaurus is a very useful way to fi nd synonyms. They are available as books and online. If you are working in MS Word, highlight the word you are looking up, then right click and there will be an option for synonyms.
