Other types of animation include what is called ‘stop- motion animation’, which uses clay figures that are moved only slightly and then shot, with all the frames put together to suggest continuous movement, such as is used in the Wallace and Gromit films; or computer-animated 3-D techniques, such as in The Polar Express.
