Some poems use a very tight structure. In the case of the next poem, the structure is very clear. The poet uses a lot of repetition. The fi rst and last line of every stanza is the same. The fi nal word of the second and third lines are repeated in each stanza. The last word in the fourth line of each stanza is the same. As you read, consider how this repetition adds to the musical quality of this poem.
