An infographic (information graphic) lays out information, ideas, statistics or even a story in the form of a diagram (a mixture of words and images). It may use short snappy sentences, statistics, bold colours or eye-catching images to get its message across. It is important to read each individual part and then look at it as a whole.
Study the infographic below and then complete these tasks.
a. Choose one of the characteristics of resilience as listed in the infographic that you think you could work on in your own life and write a short paragraph about how you intend to do this. Put this in an envelope, seal it and give it to your teacher. On an agreed date in the future, you can open your envelope and refl ect on whether you achieved your aim.
b. Working in groups, come up with one more tip for resilience that you could add to the infographic.
