The second innovation, PrimalHyal Hydra[+],
a new cationic hyaluronic acid claimed to bring better performances than other, ‘standard’ grades by at least a factor of two. The third, RetiLife, is said to be the first 100% natural and sustainable retinol. RetiLife is a fully natural biotech version of retinol, highly concentrated, at 50% in a fully natural chassis, made of sunflower oil and stabilised by a natural antioxidant system derived from rosemary.
Glen Mills (663) will highlight its range of Kakuhunter centrifugal planetary mixers, which are used to mix viscous pastes and degas any entrained bubbles, all in one unit able to handle a few grammes to 20 kilogrammes.

Future Digital Scientific (117) is unveiling its new SITA Foam Tester for water- and solvent- based formulations. The foam testing system consists of a removable measuring vessel with stirring unit, an integrated sample reservoir with magnetic stirrer, a cleaning system with external water source, an automatic optical measuring system and a touch display for operation directly at the device as well as the software SITA-FoamLab.
Gelest (1031) is launching a new line of products known as IncluSiGel, which are multifunctional polymer mixtures. The first ingredient available is the IncluSiGel 305 (INCI: Polyacrylamide (&) C13-14 Isoalkane (&) Laureth-7), which is a versatile, easy to use product that is a rheology modifier, thickener and emulsifier. Also on show is Gelest’s new hair care
brochure, Performance Ingredients for Hair Care, which was launched digitally in March. This brochure currently features some traditional Gelest products with a specific focus on hair care.
Givaudan Active Beauty (911) is launching three new ingredients at the show. The first, Gravityl, has been developed at its marine biotechnology Centre of Excellence using the power of sunlight and the capture of carbon dioxide to offer “unbelievable” skin benefits.
Giobiotics (1148) will launch an upcycled and fermented range of natural polymers for hairstyling and emulsion thickening. These include Gosulin Style, a combination of natural and biodegradable styling polymers obtained from sustainable agave, and Gosulin Hold, a combination of upcycled cellulose gum and agavins. The company says Gosulin Style together
with Gosulin Hold is an improvement compared to contemporary synthetic and non-biodegradable styling polymers. Also on show will be Risoline TC is a cold-processable rice thickener extracted from rice agriculture leftovers, compatible with cationic ingredients and Al/Zr-salts.
Hauschild Engineering (1669) will introduce three new ‘giant’ variants of its double asymmetric long radius centrifugal mixers for cosmetic liquids: Hauschild SpeedMixer Smart DAC LR 1100, 1500 and 2000. These new lab-scale units are powerful enough for highly viscous materials, offer container volumes up to 1 gallon, and can even mix multiple samples at once.
