FORMULATIONS

Procedure: Mix the Versene Na2 Crystals with the deionized water of Phase A in the main vessel using moderate propeller agitation. In a separate vessel, mix the Keltrol CG and Veegum HV with the Glycerin 99.7% USP Kosher and add to the main vessel. Heat to 75-80°C. When Phase A becomes uniform, shift to homomixing. Mix Phase A with moderate homomixing agitation at 75-80°C and allow time for the Veegum HV to activate. In a separate vessel, mix the ingredients of Phase B except the Emulsun and the Vitamin A Palmitate and heat to 75-80°C. Mix with slow to moderate propeller agitation until uniform. Add the Vitamin A Palmitate to Phase B at 75-80°C. Mix with slow to moderate propeller agitation. When the mixture becomes clear, add the Emulsun. Mix with slow to moderate propeller agitation. Add Phase B to Phase A with homomixing agitation at 75-80°C. When the mixture becomes uniform, shift the mixture to propeller mixing. Cool to 55-60°C with slow to moderate propeller agitation. Add Phase C to Phase AB at 55°C with slow to moderate propeller agitation. Stop mixing at 45-50°C. Properties: pH: 6 - 7 Viscosity: 40 - 52kcP
