Dr Catherine Sanderson, PhD, MSc (Education), YMCA, is principal lecuturer in Health Sciences at Leeds Metropolitan University. A biochemist/physiologist by training, her subject areas of interest are the relationships
between activity patterns and health, nutrition and health and adult obesity. Cath is also involved in fitness education and has worked for both YMCAFit and then Northern Fitness working on education development and delivery of fitness courses and PT modules. She is also a qualified fitness instructor and a lifelong football fan.
