elected after a nationwide search, the ‘inspiration trainers’ chosen were given the once in a lifetime

In addition to founding a health and wellbeing company, Zest, Rachel Hobbs set-up the Love Kids Football Academy, to help underprivileged Ghanaian children. She also worked to promote the benefits of a regular exercise regime within low income communities in Ghana. This involved training local women to teach exercise to their
communities in an attempt to prevent the rise of obesity and
type two diabetes commonly occurring in middle-aged women in African countries.

Following a serious paragliding accident in
which Wanda Summers broke her L4 vertebra, she was told by doctors that she would never walk again. Having led a very active life until then, Wanda was devastated to be bed- bound for 12 weeks. However, with determination she is walking again and has continued her passion for training.
“Being selected meant so much to me; it meant all my hard work and training and people thinking I am crazy because I live for fitness, actually counts for something real. This was an incredible opportunity to work alongside others who share the same passion as me. I hope that as part of the team, I was able to share this passion for training by inspiring others to never give up, because it pays off in the end” says Wanda Summers.
Sally Kettle is a world record holder as the first woman to row the Atlantic twice from east to west, in a total of 183 days 1 hour and 53 minutes. She also supports a number of other charities including Shelterbox and London Sports Trust.
“I felt honoured to be selected and extraordinarily privileged to be part of
the team” says Sally Kettle. “To be able to be a part
of the build up, working with athletes, and other trainers from around the world, was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I couldn’t wait to get involved.”
