Welcome to the April edition of Personal Care Global. We’re excited to bring you our biggest issue of the year. This one has something
for everyone, with technical articles covering everything from skin care to sun care, from marine ingredients
to upcycled ingredients, and from testing to certification. We hope you find it informative. Aside from the
feast of technical features, this issue also includes an account of the panel discussion I had the honour of moderating at the Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade show in Guangzhou, China. The discussion, which centred on product
development, was between Provital president Ricard Armengol; Evonik global product development manager Christian Bellacanzone; Lucas Meyer Cosmetics global R&D director Mathilde Frechet; and Gattefossé actives marketing leader Laurie Canel. A stellar line-up and, I hope you agree, an

interesting discussion. Also in this issue, in-cosmetics Global event
director Roziani Zulkifli previews the Formulation Lab, which is partnered by Personal Care Global magazine, at the trade show in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Formulation Lab is one of the highlights of
in-cosmetics Global and we are pleased to share with you the full line-up of this prestigious show floor event. The Formulation Lab will have copies of the
brand newLittle Book of Sustainable Ingredients Volume 3, which will be debuted at the Amsterdam show. We will also have copies of that and the Little
Book of Natural Ingredients Volume 5 at our stand 1A97, where you can meet the entire Personal Care Global team. Publishing director Trevor Moon, publisher
Geoff King, business manager Chris Vincent, senior sales executive Kelly McCann, publication administrator Katy Cockle and myself will all be in attendance. See you in Amsterdam. Enjoy the magazine.
