Formulation Lab: sun care in the spotlight

Roziana Zulkifli - RX Global

As the event director of in-cosmetics Global 2025, I am excited to share the long-awaited schedule for this year’s Formulation Lab, in partnership with Personal Care Global magazine. As one of the show’s most highly rated and popular features, the lab provides a unique opportunity to experiment with new ingredients, explore innovative techniques, and collaborate with fellow formulators. Managed by Lorna Radford, managing

director of Enkos Developments and official technical advisor for in-cosmetics Global, the Formulation Lab is sponsored by Brenntag and supported by IKA. The programme offers live, hands-on sessions in a fully equipped lab, featuring cutting-edge ingredients and expert-led interactive guidance from industry leaders.

This year’s Formulation Lab will delve into the latest innovations in sun protection, including next- generation UV filters, reef-safe formulations, and hybrid skincare-suncare products that cater to evolving consumer demands.
