IN-COSMETICS GLOBAL 2025

deep hydration and nourishment without relying on conventional, less eco-friendly ingredients. By leveraging Winsor III microemulsions and ISO 16128-compliant environmentally conscious ingredients, we have ensured that our formulation, Deep Hydration Triphasic Hair Serum, provides superior performance while remaining gentle on both hair and the environment.” Kaya adds: “Our triphasic microemulsion

technology is a patented process that involves a unique middle-phase microemulsion that coexists seamlessly between separate oil and water phases. Our innovative formulations, developed with Winsor III microemulsions, eliminate the need for traditional ingredients such as silicones and petroleum derivatives.” Also exploring haircare will be Dominique

Lemos, Hair Care Lab Manager and Valérie Billebaud, Global Business Development Director at SNF. Their session, ‘Unlock the Secrets of Natursol EMI REV - The Cold Processable, Advanced Hair Conditioner,’ hosted at 09:30 on Thursday 10 April, will explore innovative solutions for hair conditioners. Throughout the session, SNF will

introduce its Natursol EMI REV biodegradable conditioning agent that requires no heating or emulsifiers. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the benefits of the ingredient, including deep moisturisation, smooth combing, and the ability to create minimalist, high-performance formulations. Lemos says: “Who hasn’t dreamed of

creating hair care formulations without using a hot process? This is now possible thanks to our latest technology: Natursol EMI Rev, a cationic inverse emulsion. During this lab session, we will demonstrate the full flexibility of Natursol EMI Rev to create textures from leave-on

to masks, using a cold process without any emulsifiers, without any fatty alcohols, without any conventional surfactants like BTAC, BTMS...delivering superior performance with a simplified, eco-friendly process. “In the cosmetics market, 90% of

conditioners are produced using a hot process. Currently, all industries are seeking ways to reduce energy consumption. As a comparison, consider the energy required to produce one litre of conditioner: for a traditional hot process, lasting an average of 105 minutes, consumes approximately 2000 kJ. In contrast, our innovative Natursol EMI Rev technology enables a cold process that requires only 90 kJ. “This significant reduction in energy

consumption highlights the efficiency and sustainability of Natursol EMI Rev, making it a game-changer in the cosmetics industry. In this lab session, we will formulate a leave- on treatment that offers numerous benefits for the hair. This unique formulation, made possible by Natursol EMI Rev, will demonstrate enhanced conditioning, curl definition, and superior hydration, all achieved through an energy-efficient cold process.”
