RYA Courses RYA课程

Each RYA National Sailing Scheme course can be taken in dinghies, small keelboats, or multihulls. The initial courses of the Adult (levels 1 and 2) and Youth (stages 1 to 4) sailing schemes will introduce you to this wonderful sport, teaching you all you need to know to get afloat and setting the foundations of sailing.

Having completed the initial courses within the appropriate RYA scheme, in light winds you will be able to rig, launch your boat, sail in all directions, and recover ashore.

Why stop there? Both the Adult and Youth schemes have further courses to assist your progression and increase your confidence in a boat.

Better Sailing (Level 3 in the Adult scheme) progresses skills and techniques, increasing confidence afloat and getting you ready to embark on the Advanced modules.

Following on from the earlier courses, Start Racing and the Advanced modules are designed to suit individual sailing interests. Available both to adults and youth, there are a range of courses to choose from: Seamanship Skills; Day Sailing; Sailing with Spinnakers, and Performance Sailing.
