The 43rd Annual NYSCC Suppliers’ Day is back in its traditional timeframe, 3-4 May 2022, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre in New York and will bring the industry together for unparalleled innovations, education and business building. As North America’s most important ingredients and formulation event, Suppliers’ Day will provide the latest trends, scientific findings, global ingredients, raw materials and solutions that will invigorate and accelerate beauty and personal care product developments. With the overarching theme, ‘Your Source
for Science & Sustainability Solutions’, the Javits Centre will be filled with scientific expertise and discoveries that are driving beauty and personal care innovations and bringing new products to life. Attendees will be immersed in sustainable, clean and green solutions impacting new product development and business success. Suppliers’ Day will feature more than 60
hours of conference sessions and curated educational programmes, as well as 430+ global exhibitors showcasing novel ingredients, formulas, processing, advanced scientific testing equipment and more. Different areas on the show floor will provide an enhanced educational experience, including the Future Chemists Workshop, the Presentation Theatre and the return of the Indie 360 Pavilion. New this year will be the Poster Presentations Showcase, with the latest scientific findings and ingredient and formulation breakthroughs.
Industry education As the chemist’s classroom, Suppliers’ Day offers multiple learning and programme tracks in all facets of the business to bolster professional expertise throughout Beauty Week. This begins before the show on 2 May with two all-day SCC CEP courses on ‘Fundamentals of Microbiome for the Cosmetics Industry’ and ‘Fundamentals of Colour’. On the show floor, Discover Sustainability
underscores the NYSCC programme theme on sustainability and ethical sourcing. Containing quick but powerful presentations from top experts on these initiatives, this programme focuses on green beauty, the state of sustainability and certification, and is a must- attend staple at Suppliers’ Day. Digital Age of Beauty provides actionable
strategies and innovations that are driving product development and speed to market. It will cover current trends and analytics that are

accelerator programmes, troubleshooting supply chain challenges, as well as legal issues in communication. The highlight will be a panel of Indie brand founders sharing their stories, including the challenges, opportunities and pathways to success. As microbiome and biogenetic technologies
continue to dominate the landscape, the Microbiome: Inside Out Beauty programme offers different expert perspectives and insight on microbiome health and how understanding the culmination of all environmental exposure the body faces from birth onward, known as the exposome, impacts new product development. The NYSCC Scientific Committee has curated
key to future product development and the latest digital tools and techniques that drive, measure and analyse consumer engagement, including AI, VR and more. The World of Chemistry delivers a global
perspective and discussion on raw materials, solutions, formulation and regulations. Presenters will include experts from Asia, Europe and Latin America, where emerging trends continue to define the beauty landscape. The Indie 360 programme returns and
focuses on every angle of launching and sustaining a brand. Presentations include expertise on navigating ingredient sourcing,
two in-depth courses, which take deep dives into topics that are relevant and timely to chemists and R&D teams: ‘In Vitro Modelling to Predict Clinical Outcome’ and ‘Natural Colorants’. Meanwhile, the Independent Beauty
Association will participate in the Indie 360 programme as well as providing its regulatory compliance update providing cosmetic and personal care industry professionals with the necessary regulatory and safety updates that they need to know now from the FDA. PCPC returns to present ‘Essential Elements
of Cosmetic Regulation, Safety Assessment & Quality Assurance’. This session highlights the fundamentals of regulatory, safety and product quality requirements for the non-expert to
