BRAZILIAN ADVENTURE 13 DAYS – HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SOUTH
Beginning at the spectacular Iguaçu Falls this tour gets off the beaten track in southern Brazil. For a safari with a difference we try freshwater snorkelling in Bonito. In the Pantanal, the world’s largest wetland, we go in search of wildlife including Caiman and Capybara. Exploring Rio we travel to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain and visit the famous Copacabana beach.
ITINERARY
Days 1/2 Overnight flight to Iguaçu, via Rio de Janeiro. Days 3/4 Iguaçu Falls Spend time exploring these huge waterfalls, and admiring the views from both Brazil and Argentina. Days 5/6 Bonito Snorkelling in the clear river waters offers a very different view of the wildlife of the region. Day 7/9 Pantanal Activities from our lodge include wildlife safaris by boat and 4WD. Horse riding and piranha fishing are also possibilities. Day 10/11 Rio de Janeiro Explore the vibrant city of Rio. Take a cable car to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Days 12/13 Overnight flight to the UK.
