Experience the Wild West as we explore the deserts, lakes and canyons of Arizona and Utah. Walking to the rim of the Grand Canyon we have breathtaking views of the Nevada Desert. We ride horses with cowboys on a working ranch and spend a night under the stars in Monument Valley. We also visit the famous Las Vegas Strip and explore the bustling city.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Fly to Las Vegas. Day 2 Las Vegas Explore the city and visit the famous Strip. Days 3/4 Zion National Park Walk the trails and explore the waterfalls, ravines and valleys of this National Park. There is the option to hike along the Zion Narrows, splashing through the Virgin River. Day 5 Bryce Canyon Discover this remarkable landscape of ancient rock formations. Day 6 Cowboys Spend the afternoon at a ranch and enjoy activities including horse riding. Day 7 Monument Valley Travel by four-wheel drive through the Navajo Reservation. Spend the night in a Hogan – the traditional accommodation of the Navajo people. Day 8/9 Lake Powell Enjoy activities on the lake or visit Antelope Canyon. Days 10/11 Grand Canyon Enjoy a variety of walks, admiring some of the most breathtaking views on earth. There is time for an optional helicopter ride over the Canyon. Day 12 Route 66 Drive along this legendary road to Las Vegas. Days 13/14 Overnight flight to the UK.
