MONT BLANC EXPLORER 8 DAYS – MULTI ACTIVE ALPINE ADVENTURE


Surrounded by some of Europe’s highest mountain peaks we cycle, swim and swing through tree-tops on this family adventure. We trek to the ‘Sea of Ice’ glacier nestled high in the Alps, ride on forest trails through the Chamonix Valley and take a train through the mountains to a waterfall. We also experience traditional French markets and sample some delicious local cuisine.


ITINERARY


Day 1 Fly to Geneva. Travel to Chamonix. Day 2 Mountain bike Ride through forest trails and quiet country roads in the Chamonix Valley. A free afternoon for optional activities including rock climbing or horse riding. Day 3 Adventure Park Spend the day at Les Contamines Adventure Park: with lake swimming, pedalos, tennis and aerial ropeway through the tree-tops. Day 4 Mountain trails Walk along fir-lined forest paths with views of Chamonix and jagged Alpine peaks. Discover the ‘Sea of Ice’ glacier. Day 5 Cable car A free day. There is the option of a cable car ride to the Aiguille du Midi (3842m). Alternatively hike, raft or rock-climb. Day 6 Cascade de Berard waterfall Take the mountain train to Le Buet and walk on gentle forest trails to a waterfall. Free afternoon. Day 7 Local market Practice your French and sample the cuisine at the local weekly market. Day 8 Fly to the UK.
