COMFORT RATINGS
Down-to-earth and natural: typically camping with limited facilities. You will pitch your own tent and help out with the camp chores.
Simple local accommodation; typically hostels, pensions or teahouses that are clean and comfortable and usually have shared facilities. Alternatively it could be a campsite with showers and toilets, and a support crew to help out with camp chores.
Hotels and guesthouses (often family run) with en-suite bathrooms but lacking other facilities such as bars and restaurants.
Higher quality hotels, lodges or guesthouses, with more comfortable bedrooms, en suite bathrooms and often other facilities such as restaurants, bars and a swimming pool.
Often you’ll stay in different styles of accommodation during your trip; so we make an average rating across the entire tour. Please for each night.
