ITINERARY


Day 1 Fly to Lima. Day 2 Lima Visit this bustling capital city on the coast known as ‘the City of Kings.’ Explore its colonial heritage and visit the Larco Herrera Museum (optional). Days 3/4 Arequipa Fly to this beautiful Andean city, nestled at the foot of El Misti Volcano. Visit the Santa Catalina convent, opened in 1970 after four centuries of isolation. There is an optional trip to Colca Canyon. Days 5/6 Lake Titicaca Take a boat trip along the world’s highest navigable lake. Visit the floating islands’ home to the Uros Indians. Days 7/9 Cusco Travel to the ancient Inca capital and explore its cobbled streets and winding alleyways. Visit Pisac Market and discover the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Days 10/11 Machu Picchu Travel by train to the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu and explore this legendary site. Return to Cusco. Day 12 White-water rafting Enjoy a free day to explore Cusco. There is the option to go white-water rafting on the Urubamba River. Day 13 Lima Fly to the capital. Days 14/15 Overnight flight to the UK.
