Volcanic landscapes, dramatic mountains and underground cities are all part of this active family adventure across Turkey. We white-water raft through the Koprulu canyon, camp under the stars and roll in the mud baths in Dalyan. We also travel along some spectacular coastlines and admire the country’s impressive ancient relics.


ITINERARY


Day 1 Fly to Kayseri. Travel to Goreme. Day 2 Ihlara Valley Walk among the cave dwellings, rock churches and ‘fairy chimney’ rock formations of this volcanic landscape. Day 3 Pigeon Valley Enjoy a pottery lesson. Hike through the valley. Day 4 Cavusin Explore the Pancarlik and Kizilcukur valleys and visit the cave- village of Cavusin. Day 5 Kaymakli Explore this unusual underground city. Trek to the campsite (children can ride mules). Day 6 Taurus Mountains A walk through the Cimbar Canyon to share lunch with villagers. Day 7 Konya Walk down Yallak Valley to the Taurus River.
